So I was thinking last night about the State Board test.
Now that Cosmetology school is getting close to the end I have been thinking about that damn test nearly non stop. I am not stressing about it to bad as of yet, but I know the moment I finish my last two chapters I am going to go into panic mode.
I have decided that I am going to give myself a month after I get out to properly prepare. I don’t want to rush into taking the test RIGHT when I graduate and end up failing because I didn’t give myself a good amount of time to take a breather between school and the test.
That also gives me time to have one last hurrah before stepping into the big kid world! Eep. Terrifying thought! Anyways, I am going to have a little bit of extra money from my final loan disbursement (I am going to save half for a plan Shawnie and I have and spend half) so I am going to go to Seattle for a week to catch up with everyone, meet a couple babies that have been born since my last visit, and to go to a Rejects show. Should be a fun!
So I shall take my state board test in November! At the moment I am excited by the prospect of it. Kind of nervous but that’s normal. Give me a few weeks and I will probably be singing a different tune.
