So I was thinking last night about the State Board test.
Now that Cosmetology school is getting close to the end I have been thinking about that damn test nearly non stop. I am not stressing about it to bad as of yet, but I know the moment I finish my last two chapters I am going to go into panic mode.
I have decided that I am going to give myself a month after I get out to properly prepare. I don’t want to rush into taking the test RIGHT when I graduate and end up failing because I didn’t give myself a good amount of time to take a breather between school and the test.
That also gives me time to have one last hurrah before stepping into the big kid world! Eep. Terrifying thought! Anyways, I am going to have a little bit of extra money from my final loan disbursement (I am going to save half for a plan Shawnie and I have and spend half) so I am going to go to Seattle for a week to catch up with everyone, meet a couple babies that have been born since my last visit, and to go to a Rejects show. Should be a fun!
So I shall take my state board test in November! At the moment I am excited by the prospect of it. Kind of nervous but that’s normal. Give me a few weeks and I will probably be singing a different tune.
BLAST FROM THE PAST:2003-2005 Official AAR Message Board (a.k.a. Poastboard)
After that question we got the other day about a public forum for AAR fans it got me looking for a screen cap of the old message board we used to help out with and I found one. Good ole days….
Also while looking for that picture I noticed that there’s really NO CURRENT AAR Fan Sites, which is just heartbreaking, so I threw together a little message board so that you guys can TRY to interact with other fans.
So if you’re interested in in chatting on a message board & meeting other AAR fans you can do so now at the message board I just made by clicking here: http://aarfans.proboards.com
I miss the boards! THE BOARDS! Gah, So many memories. Wanna make some new memories? Check out the new AAR fan board! Connect with new people, reconnect with old, and share in the fact that you guys have at least one common interest… THE REJECTS!
I had a blast! My face is sunburned from sitting in line all day though, but it was worth it. I made some new friends, got to hang out with Shawnie, and rocked out to my boys. All n all it was a great day!!! Can’t wait for #19!! Fall maybe? Fingers crossed!
I know that I have TECHNICALLY had the album for like a week but it wasn’t until I got home with a physical copy and really got to look at it that I realized how excited I was. I am so proud of those boys. They did a fantastic job with this album. I can not get enough of it!!
I have been a fan for 6 years (7 in September) and I have been blown away by them yet again. They mean the world to me. I owe them so much. They quite literally changed my life. Most of my closest relationships and most important life events are some how connected to the Rejects, and I honestly can not even begin to thank them enough.
Ughhh, I am feeling somewhat nostalgic tonight, my apologies for this saptastic post.
